These four buildings, located in the South Bronx, make up a cluster of buildings currently undergoing NYC HPD’s Neighborhood Redevelopment Program. Scope items included new roof with high-albedo coating, new energy efficient windows and exterior insulation, as well as replacing ageing infrastructure for more energy efficient and code compliant building systems.

This building, located at 126th St and Fifth Ave in Manhattan, was developed through HPD’s TIL program. The gut renovation included boiler and roof replacements, a new elevator, façade work, interior insulation work, and ground floor concrete work.
The scope includes new windows, new insulation at the exterior walls, façade work, including new aprons, sills, A/C sleeves and repointing, painting and patching as required in the interior, new paint on all doors and all common spaces.
The project consists of a cluster of 11 three-family houses located side on the same city block in the Bed-Stuy portion of Brooklyn. The lots are 25’ wide infill properties and were designed to blend with the existing neighborhood aesthetic, in both scale and material.
This cluster of 5 walk-up multifamily buildings is located in the East Tremont and Wakefield portions of the Bronx. They are currently slated to begin construction in early 2013. These existing buildings will be renovated to provide a total of 54 dwelling units in an array of types.
