These four buildings, located in the South Bronx, make up a cluster of buildings currently undergoing NYC HPD’s Neighborhood Redevelopment Program. Scope items included new roof with high-albedo coating, new energy efficient windows and exterior insulation, as well as replacing ageing infrastructure for more energy efficient and code compliant building systems.
100 W 163rd St is a 4 story, 9 unit building; 190 Brown Place is a 5 story 21 unit building; 783 East 168th Street is a 4 story, 9 unit building, and 954 Anderson Avenue is a 4 story, 9 unit building.
Design commenced in 2008, and Phase 1, consisting of 100 W 163rd St, and 190 Brown Place, is slated for completion at the end of 2012, with Phase 2 beginning in early 2013.
