Dougert TPT
This cluster of 5 walk-up multifamily buildings is located in the East Tremont and Wakefield portions of the Bronx. They are currently slated to begin construction in early 2013. These existing buildings will be renovated to provide a total of 54 dwelling units in an array of types.
Although the scope varies from building to building, all renovations have an emphasis on energy efficiency, with three of the buildings going into NYSERDA’s Multifamily Performance Program. All appliances, lighting and boilers are energy star compliant, and, depending on scope, the building envelope has been made more efficient with additional insulation, energy efficient windows, and a focus on building tightness.
