Apothecary Hall

Apothecary Hall, located in downtown Waterbury, Connecticut, is an adaptive reuse project that is also highly energy efficient.

63 Bank Street is a gut rehabilitation of an existing seven story buildings on an irregular site in historic downtown Waterbury, CT. The upper floors are residential apartments, and the ground floor has commercial space. The façade of the building will be restored to its original appearance as much as possible, including maintaining and restoring all decorative elements, such as molding, corning’s, and faux balconies. The inside of the building will have new interior partitions, energy efficient heating and electrical systems, and water efficient plumbing systems.

The luxury rentals bring life back to a downtown currently undergoing its own revitalization, while maintain the historical integrity of the community. The project has received funding from Connecticut Light and Power and Yankee Gas for the energy efficient measures.
